Christmas Trees come in threes! (and free)
Instead of just one, real Christmas tree we got three fake ones! Ok, so it isn't as awesome or as good smelling, but they were free so you can't argue with that. Well, they are small and they don't take up to much space so it's nice. Instead of putting presents under the tree, we put them around. We've got two of the best ornaments also. There is a small Van's shoe and Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas in his snowman outfit. Totally awesome.
Temple Lights
A couple of weeks ago we went up to Salt Lake to see the lights at the temple. Drew and Sibelle, Bryon and Leah, Kim and I all drove up and had a fun time quoting tv shows like SNL and other jokes. When we got up there we walked to get some hot chocolate from Starbucks. From there we walked around Temple Square looking at the lights. We went into the tabernacle and sat for a while and then drove home. What a wonderful time we were able to have in a company of people we love.

Park-ing
Ok everyone, It's official. She said yes.
Well this is the story. A couple weeks ago we drove out to Colorado to spend some time with her family. I was able to meet her some of her best friends from highschool Danelle, Dea, Kristi, CV, and Priscilla. the first day we were there we met for some ice cream and then chilled with CV at her mom's work place. It's a party store and the coolest thing is this confetti shooter. It's awesome! Well, we hung out with the fam and her brothers, Nick and Josh, are freaking awesome! They are way fun to hang out with. We went bowling and we had some crazy stuff happen. Josh is getting better at spinning the ball and Nick had the best bowl that put a hole in a board. We went to bishop castle which is a man made structure that I'll put picture up later. On Sunday I was able to talk with her mom and dad about marrying her and they were super nice about everything. Love them! So, every since we got back I've had the ring. Kim didn't know this of course so when tonight happened it was a major surprise. We had a little family home evening and then went to a park for dessert. We were going to go to a park where we first started dating, but that was too far a walk so I decided to make a new memory at a new park.

Right when we got there I said it's probably best way to make this family home evening end is make it an official family. I pulled out the box, got on my knee and she didn't believe it was real until she saw the ring. She immediately freaked. I asked her to marry me and she said with hands covering her mouth, and little tears in her eyes "yes". The best word I've ever heard. I then slipped the ring on her finger and we hugged and kissed and were super happy. We ate some ice cream and just sat there talking for a bit. As we walked home she called her family and now it's totally official. I'm getting married. So, now all of you who read the title and thought we parked to make out, your wrong. Get it....Park-ing!!

It was actually pretty awesome cause a lot of people were really taken back but other totally got into it. People walking by all stopped and cheered. It was fantastic. I on the other hand am not the best camera man as you can tell.

Welcome home surprise!
While Kim was gone over the break I snuck into her room and left her a welcome home gift-a teddy bear and a rose. When we got home late Sunday night all of her roommates were there and a couple of friends. So, when she unlocked her door and went in only me and Megan knew the surprise was there so when she gave a little scream and ran out of her room into the kitchen everyone was wondering what was going on. Kim's eyes lit up with joy and surprise and she gave me an amazingly good hug. Glad to make her day!
