the night life
well, installs are normal. things are going well and I only have minor problems now. it's actually pretty cool. I did have one install that took me forever cause I couldn't get the garage door sensor to work cause it was too far away or something so that sucked and then the wife was really sweet and stuff....not. well, the other awesome story is that when we are in chicago, we are in a black neighborhood and sometimes it's not the safest place. well, I got done with my jobs so i went to help steve so we could get everything done and get home at a decent time. I guess on saterdays they are going to give us jobs after 7 so we have somewhat of a weekend. well, his car didn't start so it was really dark, so we are just kinda sitting there and yeah. it starts and he decided to go to a job and partial it, well, he leaves his car running so it doesn't die again and he locked himself out so I had to drive back, I was on the freeway, and go help him out. we finally get in and then we drove home realy fast. i got stuck behind some slow cars and that was really frustrating. but, that was the horror story of the week cause I admit I was a little scared.

Bust!
so, the exciting story for the day was that I installed a system for an undercover police officer. he was a really cool guy and was telling me some stories about what he has done. apparently, they are allowed to do the pit maneuver where you hit the back of the car and make them spin out. he said that if he could have done that, he would have arrested a lot more people and that things might be a little better in his neighborhood. which was strange because he was in a really nice home place. but, just a mile down the road was straight up ghetto. it's suprising how it changes so fast. reminds me of my mission. speaking of cops, the other week, I got pulled over. I was going 20 over, with no headlight, failed to signal, and I think my insurance is expired. but, he had pity and just gave me a warning instead. he was a champ. I think that he felt sorry that I just drove and hour to get home cause we were still in rockford, and because I had an early job. so, he's cool. welp, that's about all I can think of right now.
Medians
So the other day, i was driving. I was going to a job and I really wasn't paying close attention to the traffic so I was turning left and kinda just went. well, the oncoming car honked so I cut a little sharper than normal, causeing me to go on the other side of a median and head for a car. I swerved out of the way but there was a wonderful 2 foot high, 3 foot wide median waiting to meet the tires of my car for the first time. well, I went over it and bottomed out my car. so i think that's the problem I have been having with me car. but, it was quite exciting cause as soon and the tail pipe cleared the cement, I started to drive again, and there was a wonderful officer of the law just kinda looking in amazment. so, that was fun.
so this is the anchor of the ship Chicago. and it's an the navy pier. fun stuff. my sister has the same picture when she was traveling to NY. I feel special. well, anyway, it's cool cause it wasn't a hot day and things are cool. we just chilled that day and I dropped my camera so that sucked. so now on my camera it dates the picture as jan of 1980. awesome. anywhosits, it was a fun freakhog of a day.

The TS 2000
yesterday, whence i was traveling to the new area to install, I was stuck behind a trailer truck for umm, about 45 min. the bad part about it was in that 45 min of travel, we moved a total of 1.4 miles, or so says my gps. so, I was looking around and found out that the trailers name was ts 2000. then I started thinking. that would be an awesome band name. and then the best part struck. you could perform all of your concerts on a ts 2000 trailer! Genius!

Chicago!
well, it's been umm two weeks from the last post. man I suck at this just as bad as I do keeping a journal. well, it's been a bit but life is good. went to chicago last week and took a bunch of pictures of the city from the 2nd tallest building? the sears tower. it was quite amazing. I would not want to fall off the edge of that one. anyway, things are going well as a technition. It's fun to talk to the customer and getting food. most of them will give you some water or soda, sometime you even get lunch or dinner. it's pretty cool that way. so in the next couple of blogs i'm going to tell you what i've been doing and what's been going on for the past two weeks.

ADT
well, today i had a wonderful suprise of being on the tech's end of a sale. we got a job and went over and started to install it. well the wires were all messed up and then the phone went out and the ladies son came over and started to yell at us and moan about how it was taking so fetching long. so he decided to call adt and ask them if we were with them after the fact that we told him we weren't and that's when all the cuss words in my mind started. he thought his mom was conned but whatever, so we stopped and took everything out and that's about it. so we thought, then the cops came and questioned us and all they could say was, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the contract and what not so it's bull. we were almost done with the job too but then we left and I was mad the whole night. grr those adt folk. well, now I am offically a tech and will get some jobs and training tomorrow. I am excited for that cause nothing can be as bad as today.

Connectivity
so, the internet doesn't like my computer. every time I am online, it decides to kick me off and make me scream and throw things out the window. I am talking and writing emails and then, bam. nothing. I really want to kill it. oh, and it doesn't connect unless I am in the corner of my living room right next to the window that faces the clubhouse cause that's where I get my internet. no where else does my computer work. stupid thing. so, if I am talking to anyone and I just stop talking, now you understand the connectivity problem
